All Dressed Up Challenge 65

Image
Cute Just Got Cuter Have just re-organized my craft room and catching up with some card making. I will not be doing any changes for a while, if ever as it has taken days to sort and then find things again. Hubby helped to pack it up so we could put more shelves in after the new carpet and he throw things in any box and didn't label any of them. At least I have more work space and he was was a great help. The card image was a freebie I have had printed out for awhile and it was time I used it. Have a friends birthday coming up and she has just acquired a new dog so thought this would be a great image for her birthday card. Coloured the image with copics and used a scarp of PP from an old pack from Gina K that I adhered to a aqua card base. Kept it simple and I am looking forward to making more with the box of images I found to colour. Copics:  Dog: E000,00,23,25,31,R20. Bow: BG11,15,49. Ground: W3,5. Shadow C0. Red Fine Tipped Gel Pen was used for the heart.

Your Next Stamp Challenge #56

Image
Sending Joy Having just discovered your stamps I only have two so far and they are both Christmas ones so I have another card to add to the pile for next Christmas. I stamped the image twice, coloured one and just the mice on the other so I could fizzy cut them and mount them for dimension. Added some glossy accents and clear wink of stella for some pop. Used some spellbinders ovals to cut the image and layer it onto the card. The large piece of PP is from Kaiser Bluebelle 61/2 x61/2 pad and the small strip is a scrap piece from my stash. Added some twine and the sentiment is from the same stamp set. I used copics to colour the image. Copics:  Mice: W0,1,3,R12. Hat: R24,27. Bow: E50,51,53,55. Leaves & Berries: YG11,13,17,67,G17,R35. Crazy 4 Challenges - C4C369

Image
The Future Looks Rosy My first time entering this challenge and this was a great one to start with. I had fun playing with the sketch and it's one I will use again. The image used was an old freebie from Penny Black that has to be a least 3 yrs old and found when my DH helped reorganise my craft room. We had to move it all out to lay the new carpet and I decided I needed new shelves. It's amazing what you put away and forget. I coloured the cat with copics and layered in onto some pink cardstock. The pink strip was cut from Spellbinders Curved Boarders Two that was adhered over an old scrap of PP from Rosie's Studio, that was then adhered to a pale grey card base. Added some mounting tape to the image to give it some dimension. The Sketch Copics: Cat: W1,3,5,9,10,R12. Roses: R56,59,89. Leaves & Stems: YG13,17. Paper Wrapping: R000,83,85,89,N1. Hearts: R27,89. Butterfly Kisses Finally have some time and space to get back into crafting. Had new carpet laid so that meant I had to dismantle my craft room and move everything out. Took ages to get it back together and I am still looking for things. At least it is now tidy so hopefully it will stay that way for a while. This month the image is from All Dressed Up  and she is gorgeous. Kept the image large and added the sentiment then coloured her with copics. Tried a new hair combo and like the result. The PP is from a Kaiser 61/2 x 61/2 pad called Mademoiselle and I punched 3 butterflies from the same PP and added some copic colour and pearls to them so they would stand out. Added a pearl to the bag for extra bling. Copics: Skin & Lips: E50,51,53,R20,RV23. Hair: Y000,00,E40,41. Dress: YG11,13,Y00,02,06 & black copic multiliner 0.1 Scarf:& Beanie: B18,21,23,26. Sending Hugs and kisses I have finally got back into my craft room after new carpet and new shelving. This will be the last overhaul for a long, long time as it took for ever and I am still trying to remember where everything  is. Most is in the same area but some I just had to find a new home for and it always seems to be those items you want. At least I have managed to get back to crafting. Gerda's cute image is a couple of hedgehogs and was going to make a valentines card but made it suitable for any occasion. The image is coloured with copics then cut out with a Spellbinders oval die and then adhered to a brown scalloped oval. The white heart lace die is from Couture Creations and the extra hearts cut with a EK Success punch.Computer generated the sentiment and added glossy accents to the butterflies. Copics:  Hedgehogs: E40,41,42,44,47,49,YR24. Hearts: R27. Ground: W3,5.

Happy Birthday Friend

She has had a hard time the last three months so hoping this will cheer her up. Anything to do with Japanese culture is her thing and I found this gorgeous image from Little Blue Button called  Sweet Geisha Charlie  and here is the result. AAA Cards Cas Challenge

Image
All is calm, all is bright My first card for this challenge and I hope it is cas enough. I still want to add just abit more but better than I used to be. The challenge is Silver and as I hadn't put all my Christmas stamps away this was what I came up with. The trees are from Stampin up Evergreen and the sentiment from other set of theirs called Wonderland. I Stamped the solid tree with tumbled glass distress ink, spritz with water and stamped three times. Used versamark for the overlay stamp then silver embossed them and fussy cut them out. Cut snow banks and also embossed the edges with silver embossing powder and added some tumbled glass for a bit of colour. The deer, from a MFT die is also silver embossed. Arranged the elements on a white card piece that I dry embossed with a snow pattern by sizzix, then onto a piece of blue glitter paper and a card base. I silver embossed the sentiment and around the edge of the card base to keep it all uniform.
